Our Basement

As most of you know when we were looking to buy a house the one thing that I really wanted was more than one bathroom, and a completely finished basement. Well I got 3 bathrooms and a partially finished basement. We are now in the process of completing the basement. Here are some pictures of it in progress will post more when it is completed. 

Look we have walls, a ceiling and doors. I am so excited. More pictures coming soon, at least I hope. I really can't wait for the finished project I am tired of the MESS!

My Alyssa likes to dance. This video is from last october but I thought everyone would enjoy it. I just learned how to put video on here. So I thought I would try it out.

Dakota loves to slide.

As soon as I figure out how to get the movies off my video camera I will try to post more for everyone to enjoy.

This is Ben and his new girlfriend Malory. She is so sweet and is awesome with all Ben's brothers and sister. I really like this girlfriend.

Alyssa is into strawberry shortcake and spongebob. You can't find spongebob for girls, and strawberry shortcake is not easy to find for big girls so I made her a strawberry shortcake blanket. She doesn't go any where with out it now. 

Can you believe how short she cut her hair. I almost cried when she walked out and said look mommy me cutted it.

This is her hair before she cut it all off. Now I can't even put a barrette in it... the barrette just falls out. 

CONGRADULATIONS to my dearest friends Megan & Joe on there new beautiful little baby boy Josh. We love you guys.

Dakota was the only one to visit Santa this year Eddy said he was to old and Alyssa was terrified of him.

A New Year

It has been quite and interesting new year. We have been so busy it seems as if it can go wrong it does. We just are trying to keep up. We love our new house and the kids are doing wonderful in school. Kev's job here in IF is ok he likes it most of the time we just wish the economy would pick up and help us out a bit. :) Not sure if that will happen anytime soon though. I will get some pictures up of our year as soon as possible. Hugs Ellie

I wish it would warm up I am missing the sun. This is the picture I look at when I am feeling like I have cabin fever. I can't wait to sit out there under my tree and look at the green grass and leaves.

We were building gingerbread houses. Alyssa is tasting hers.

Dakota gave up on the house and just made candy covered crackers.
We all had fun making these together. Then we decided to go outside and play in all the new snow.

But at least we had a nice warm living room to hang out in to warm up.
