A New Year

It has been quite and interesting new year. We have been so busy it seems as if it can go wrong it does. We just are trying to keep up. We love our new house and the kids are doing wonderful in school. Kev's job here in IF is ok he likes it most of the time we just wish the economy would pick up and help us out a bit. :) Not sure if that will happen anytime soon though. I will get some pictures up of our year as soon as possible. Hugs Ellie
I wish it would warm up I am missing the sun. This is the picture I look at when I am feeling like I have cabin fever. I can't wait to sit out there under my tree and look at the green grass and leaves.

We were building gingerbread houses. Alyssa is tasting hers.

Eddy thought that was a good idea
This is my house.
Alyssa is amazed that you can turn candy into a house.
Dakota gave up on the house and just made candy covered crackers.
We all had fun making these together. Then we decided to go outside and play in all the new snow.

But at least we had a nice warm living room to hang out in to warm up.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!! LOVE THE DAHL FAMILY

"Children are not ours, they are only lent to us for a short time, In those fleeting years, do your best to help them to be wonderful people." Isn't this so true...... Life is so short and the impact we have on the people around us including our children is so important.

Kevin is loving his kids. If he holds Kaleb he has to hold Alyssa. She is a little bit jealous. Aren't they cute.

Kaleb is ready for halloween. He is a pumpkin we didn't have much time to get him a costume thank goodness I keep everything. I found an old costume that fit him.

My cousins stopped by and went trick or treating with us. They were so cute.

They were so excited when they got back they had to check out there loot.

Alyssa tried to make Kaleb feel at home by laying down with him at bedtime.

Taking our grandson for a while

We spent the day driving let me tell you that is not a fun drive with a two year old. Alyssa had to stop at every rest area. She would play and pee then we would have to force her back in the car. After we finally made it to Boise which took 5 hrs we picked up our grandson Caleb for an extended stay so that his mom can get her self figured out. The drive home was even harder then the drive there because we had a 2 yr old and a 3 yr old. We had to stop and eat and pee and play. I didn't think we were ever going to get home. Thank goodness we did. Know I just have to get them worn out so they will go to bed. This should be a very interesting experience for me since all of my kids are so far apart in age. I have never had any close together except Ben and Jess and we only had Jess once in a while. Well that is my week.
