Basement Progress
Well we are on the final steps to complete the basement. It has definitely been a long
haul but we are finally to the floor. Here are a couple of new pictures. I wasn't sure about painted concrete I was leaning toward carpet. I have definitely changed my mind. I LOVE the floors. They will be so easy to keep clean with the kids and they look awesome.Wednesday, April 22, 2009
Dakota's 1st grade school picture
I took my daughter to her doctor yesterday. Can you believe she is 40 inch's tall, they thought that she was 4 wow! I don't think that she will ever stop growing. She is 37 lbs they say she is perfectly proportioned. Dakota is doing awesome he has to have his eye's checked again but he is growing like a weed he is finally in size 8 to 10 I think he is trying to grow so that Alyssa stops catching up since she is in size 5 and he just out grew 6/7. Poor boy he doesn't want his sister to be bigger than him. Eddy is 6 feet I need to figure out what is making my kids so tall maybe I should stop watering them well maybe not Daky. Then maybe they will stop growing and be a little shorter :) Eddy is doing better in school now that he has adjusted a little better to having so many teachers. Still smarter than anyone else he had one of the highest scores on his ISAT. But we all new he was smart. Ok I better get off of her and stop bragging :) but what better place to brag than on your blog right. Oh yes we just celebrated our 17th wedding anniversary time sure does fly. Hugs and Kisses to all of our wonderful friends and family that we don't get to see often we Love You all. The Dahl's

My Favorite Poem
The following is a poem written by Judge Roy Moore. Judge Moore was sued by the ACLU for displaying the Ten Commandments
in his courtroom foyer. He has been stripped of his judgeship and now they are trying to strip his right to practice law in Alabama ! The judge's
poem sums it up quite well.
America the beautiful,
or so you used to be.
Land of the Pilgrims' pride;
I'm glad they'll never see.
Babies piled in dumpster's,
Abortion on demand,
Oh, sweet land of liberty;
your house is on the sand.
Our children wander aimlessly
poisoned by cocaine
choosing to indulge their lusts,
when God has said abstain.
From sea to shining sea,
our Nation turns away
From the teaching of God's love
and a need to always praySeek His holy faceand mend our evil way:We've kept God in ourtemples, how callous we have grown.When earth is but His footstool,
and Heaven is His throne.
We've voted in a government
that's rotting at the core,
Appointing Godless Judges;
Too soft to place a killer
in a well deserved tomb,
But brave enough to kill a baby
before he leaves the womb.
You think that God's not
angry, that our land's a moral slum?
How much longer will He wait
before His judgment comes?
How are we to face our God,
from Whom we cannot hide?
What then is left for us to do,
but stem this evil tide?
If we who are His children,
will humbly turn and pray;
Then God will hear from Heaven;
and forgive us of our sins,
He'll heal our sickly land and those who live within.
But, the Beautiful,
If you don't - then you will see,
A sad but Holy God
withdraw His hand from Thee.

Easter
e have an early Easter/spring party. We were all getting ready and I had to take picture of all the kids. They are so cute all clean and dressed up. Not very often do we get clean and stay that way. It probably won't be for very long so I took the pictures fast before they got covered in who knows what......... especially around here where we are still sanding the sheetrock...... There is white dust everywhere.
