We decided to get out of town for the day so we called Kevin's parents and said lets go to Hogle zoo. I had never been there and it has a lot of animals that I have never seen except on tv. Dakota's favorite thing other than the rides was the elephant that sprayed water. Alyssa loved the train. Eddy seemed to like the birds of prey show. We even got to take Ben with us which is nice since he leaves for Georgia August 9th. Well hope that you enjoy the pictures. We miss all of our friends and family wish we could see you more often. Love the Dahl Family
We decided to find something to do close by that wasn't to expensive. It is getting old just hanging out at home so we took a awesome trip to the Saint Anthony sand dunes. The kids had so much fun. Not only was there a lot of sand there was a lake that was only chest deep at it's deepest. The kids dug in the sand made sand castles and played in the lake. Not bad for a free mini vacation.
Alyssa had a wonderful 4th birthday. She had all her favorite people there especially her baby sister Brynlee she still doesn't want to be an ant so she is her big sister. She is also getting married to Ben's girlfriend Mistty since she HATES BOYS!!! But she loves Mistty since Mistty gave her Brynlee who she thinks is perfect. She is going to have 9 baby Brynlee's of her own she says on a daily basis. Isn't she a card :) Hope you like the pictures like Mr Eddy being silly and Dakota excited over Alyssa's 3D chalk while she is busy checking out the clothes that she got. She picked Princess and The Frog for her party which is totally in character for her since she loves anything and everything Princess or for girls. Happy Birthday my sweet baby girl. I love you!
Every year at the Tauphaus Park Zoo they have a special night for kids with autism it is an awesome event. They take some of the animals out so the kids can pet them. There are activities and free refreshments. Even Kevin got into it (isn't he cute riding a chicken). Hope everyone enjoys the pictures. It was hard to get many with Dakota's face in them since he wouldn't take off his hat.
